How does the free trial work?

New users get 4 weeks of full access to all features. No credit card required. After the trial, you can purchase Standard ($9.99) or Advanced ($19.99) for lifetime access.

What is RFEM?

RFEM stands for "Reps From Established Max." Instead of training to failure, you train at a target number of reps below your maximum. This allows for better recovery and more consistent progress. The app calculates your targets automatically.

Does the app work offline?

Yes! Ascend stores your data locally on your device, so you can log workouts without an internet connection. Your data will sync to the cloud when you're back online.

Can I sync my data across devices?

Yes, when you create an account and sign in on multiple devices, your workout data syncs automatically across all of them.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

What's the difference between Standard and Advanced?

Standard includes RFEM training cycles and max testing. Advanced adds Simple Progression cycles and Mixed cycles, which let you combine different progression methods for each exercise.
